    I wanted to congratulate the team for their phenomenal effort related to banning a whole bunch of cheaters from the game and I sincerely hope this is a sign of things to come, so eventually we can get rid of all disgusting cheaters from our game! I hear that punishment is only temporary right now, which is very merciful of you, but I don't think they're gonna change their ways. These "players" are gonna try to find another means of cheating so you must stay vigilant.

    So you're nerfing exping while it already takes waaaaaaay too long lmao, you're out of touch.


    Also, if someone already abused the system and got level +99 the worst case for these players is having negative % but it doesn't matter at all, you get to benefit from c99 anyway and there's a chance clvl won't be used in next patches anyway, or if it will you have a good chance to make up negative percentage until next level cap by grinding items and other stuff anyway. You should take their levels away, as you did with valhalla bug long time ago. People who bugged their level were either banned permanently or got their levels rolled back, additionally you removed any equipment they were wearing if it was exceeding their non-bugged level. I hope people who, as you say, abused the system here will get equal treatment as people who abused val back then.


    Lastly I'd like to mention that you people still communicate important updates randomly on discord where not everyone is, not everyone can or want to be and taking part in converstation requires providing your phone number to company that's not respecting privacy and was victim to data breaches multiple times. Not only that but you don't even do it on general channels but very often you play favourites with german players and german channel - sending crucial info there and only there, thankfully some german players share the info with the rest of us.

    This was abysmal dimensional underwhelming disappointment.

    Upgrade rates are hilariously small and pity makes it only slightly better (btw 1,2k cella for 1 attempt to +11).
    Mobs and maps. Mobs are recolored and uninspired if they're not copies of something that already exists, maps don't look like believable places (like previous acts, especially original content 1-3) they look instead like spots to grind mobs for.
    Quests, from what little was shown they seem completely uninspired once again, kill 5 mobs, then kill 5 mobs again, then kill 7 mobs, wow! Why is quest given to us by a random unnamed mulang by the way.
    Raids, the hostile design of making raid bosses level 98 so certain bonuses won't work is pathetic and streamers promptly ignored many people questioning this decision, repulsive decision.

    Why is MA eq significantly worse?

    Why did you ignore level 98 boss questions?

    Where are you hiding new nosmall items?

    Why is pity so useless and rates so bad?

    How do I farm protection scrolls?

    I wonder how many hours people will waste leveling to +99 now. Wasting hours just to level up is horrible design when you have other systems that require a lot more grinding and you're gated from them by leveling.

    This is absolute nonsense, after merge I had to go out of my way to activate merged martial artist to replace my normal one. Now try moving items between these two characters as they're both my mains? Why can't I have both of them on account at the same time? You can have 2 or even 4 archers, but no, as always my class is shafted. If you hate it so much just remove it from the game.

    So after playing nosversary server for a while my squad finally reached level 80 which meant, after learning that from EXTERNAL SOURCES and NOT in THE GAME, we can start leveling up on a9. We had a choice between last CLOD or maps. CLOD is designed for 5 people and not only 3 so maps it is.


    We've prepared all sorts of exp boosters, basically anything we could, apart from better costumes which cost way too much and give not that much of a difference. The time has come, maps are ready, there's only 1 other group so we're not griefing each other (though it's very hard to know what's going on with these extra maps, plus they're not properly named so you don't know where you are). We start luring mobs, they hurt but that's ok, the armor is just one level ahead, we can suffer through that one level and then finally wear that sweet level 81 armor (I have a nice one with triple base def). How long can it take?


    Yea how long can it take? After spending one hour mobbing in power plant 1, actually no, after one hour of mobbing on like 5 power plant 1s, while being under effect of sound flower, ancelloan blessing and many many other items contributing to higher exp gain I got WHOOPING 14%. 14% in an hour. Fourteen percent in an hour!!!!!!!! What is this. That hour was super boring and painful and it didn't even yield any meaningful results!


    AND LET ME REMIND YOU THAT WE HAVE X3 EXPERIENCE GAIN. 4,6% NORMALLY. So yeah spending a little over 7 hours to get just one level is not it boss. And from what other people told me the exp yield is getting WORSE when you level up. So let's say that we get 1h extra per level. Rough calculation is like 24h (on triple exp mind you) to get from 80 to 83. That's really not it boss. No sane, normal, person is willing to put up with this.
    After that agonizing hour after which we had nothing to show for it we tried CLOD. It's impossible to do with our group normally, but we were defeating mobs one by one and calculated exp gain this way. It's still not worth it boss.


    I really thought that getting those 3 levels for higher tier gear wouldn't be that bad but it is, so that's it for me, unless y'all announce some fundamental game changes to many aspects of it (combat, balancing, banning alting, exp gain) I'm not coming back. I'll be watching though, waiting for the end days.


    And before some altoid or wallet warrior that gets randomly x2 xp gain and x2 damage from item shop automatically comes to say some ironic statement, no, just don't. Before someone else comes and says "well duh it's an mmo you have to grind", well first of all there's grind and there's unreasonable grind! I still had to grind for gold for consumables, for gear, I would be grinding for materials to craft better weapons too (and that grind is also very time consuming, lots and lots of different materials to craft one piece of plate for craft, of which you need like 20+). Other problem is that this leveling experience is not very fun, vokeslop and mobs hurt, it's very high stakes gaming and you can't even take a break because consumables are counting down, you essentially gotta sit 3h in one sitting, insane.


    And that's why leveling is nonsense.

    No alts period. Any problems, that would appear after alts are gone, are from obnoxiously bad balance and economy (which are from some point designed with these "players" in mind). It's straight up not fun playing on more than once account at once. Altoids say "just do it yourself" but yea it's not fun. Altoids say "you dont have to do it" but how is it fair, how is this balanced to compete with guys who have lets say x5 income and items.

    Game changes from mmorpg to a badly designed rts with horrible ui and controls. But all altoids are just using cheats to control their bots anyway, so they don't have to do anything so it doesn't matter to them. They just play on their main and alts are controlled automatically. Gameforge of course doesn't do anything with these cheaters.

    I realize that the chance for getting alts removed entirely is slim but I'd like for altoids to work for it and not have cheat that makes alting effortless.

    I hope game shuts down and competent people will be able to run it instead of this company.

    This could be a motto of this game. So many systems and things are setup in a way that makes the game worse, but they have to be there otherwise people would go crazy with alts.


    Funny thing is people go crazy with alts already!!! I saw clips of "people" who play with like 20 clients open doing ICs or raids, it's utterly deranged. Game should be played on one character at a time max, maybe storage character because we have 999999 items but inventory is too small to store all of it - but again it's a bandaid fix for inventory being too small and on a paid subscription too lmao.


    So I gave this new server a try and few of my friends did too. Due to real life stuff, one friend couldn't play as much as he wanted and now he's behind in levels. We literally can't play together anymore, we can't go and help him level up, be it on land of living or maps. This is horrible, this is anti-mmo, this is anti coop, this is anti community, this is anti-normal people.


    You should have NEVER went with alts. If you don't alt you're at a giant disadvantage, prices skyrocket before you get chance to earn gold in normal ways, playing on one char.


    There is good thread on nostale discord (I can't speak there, they require phone number, i can't provide that). The only arguments from alt abusers are "you're jealous/poor", sad people!


    The only arguments that somewhat make sense are problems that aren't solved by alting, alting is a band-aid fix for these problems. These problems should be solved by gameplay and economy changes!


    Altoiders be gone

    The constant need for vokes and tanking everything with pets is exhausting and boring, this isn't fun. Do we know if devs will ever address this horrible design and make gameplay better.


    There's no brain or anything required at all, just voke everything on pet and your pet is going to die 999999999999 times tanking everything. Wow so cool. Same with raids, just sit autoattacking and your pets tank everything, just need to have enough gold.

    What a horrible addition to the game. While stats and skills that pets can gain are nice and useful the process of obtaining them and the process of leveling up the sp is utter nonsense.

    This isn't gameplay, this is a chore, horribly boring chore, it doesn't even progress fast, it takes ages, it's absolutely the worst recent addition to the game.

    You can obviously pay up with gold for easier path (which again you can buy for real cash, yes buying premium currency for premium items that you sell for gold is buying gold!) but it still takes way too long and the process is still horribly boring and unenjoyable all the way through. The non 100% chance to catch the pet with standard skill is just cherry on top of game designer(s) inflicting as much pain and friction as possible so players either give in and pay, suffer through or cheat their way through.


    My question is when this nonsense will get fixed?

    Sure, this one was a typo, however there are many other issues and problems with the class that make such impression. It's not even about servers directly but in general. For example MA can't use quest reward item that upgrades SPs 5-8. Quest rewards got severly reduced because people abused them with alts, this hurts normal people. This class can't wear many items that are for all other classes, they don't even have to display visually if that's the issue, just let MA use stats and effects. I'm sure there are more issues, I'm not really up to date that much.

    Great, I'd like to use this opportunity to ask for timely resolution of bugged martial artist weapon for gold coins. Additionally I'd like to ask for more playtesting and careful preparation of things that regard martial artist, every new server has some issues with MA, might as well disable the class if it's gonna be like that and MA players are treated like 2nd class citizens

    However, it's important to clarify that this information going public is intentional since the very moment it is handed to content creators. What nobody wants is that the information is distributed in the shape of an attached document on Discord instead of a proper video or livestream showing and explaining the content. But if not in a video format, the information would go live one or two weeks in advance as a news anyways.

    I think it's flawed and doesn't reach enough people and fast enough, if you're not checking news 24/7 you're already at a disadvantage

    In tonight's show, we're going to discuss another of Gameforge's failings regarding Nostale and fair play. This is all because of PDF documents that are only supposed to be given to a select few trusted "content creators".


    It makes sense to give early information to people like this, as they're supposed to prepare high-quality videos in advance so they can release them when the NDA is lifted. I'll skip the part where I haven't seen a single video that warranted early information, because they're all just reading out the changes, some of them even seem to be reading the document for the first time on camera! However, the implementation is horribly flawed, and Gameforge fails to attempt to protect the integrity of the game.


    The information is contained in a single PDF file that is easily sharable and not traceable. As a regular player, it's not hard to get your hands on it within minutes of it being made available. Even people who aren't actively playing the game can easily obtain such files. Despite it being easy to gain unauthorised access to information about future updates and changes that has not yet been published, only a small minority of people are doing it. This is why...


    It's inherently unfair to the game and to most players. People who get access to these files prepare for changes in advance by buying up important materials that are cheap now but will become more desirable and expensive when the changes are introduced. This has happened several times before and will happen again.


    One could argue that Gameforge only needs to restrict the flow of information to content creators, but I believe that providing them with such information also gives them an unfair advantage, and there's nothing to stop them from verbally sharing information about upcoming content with their friends. In my opinion, Gameforge shouldn't release information like that to anyone. Detailed changes should be published when maintenance starts, and Nosbazaar should either be frozen for a day or two or items related to the changes should be automatically unlisted and returned to the owners' inventories, to prevent abuse.
