Rates in itemshop and a message to the community

  • So as many of you might've noticed we finally have visible percentages of chances in some itemshop items. Don't get fooled that this change was made with players in mind. They were simply forced by law to do so. If they had best interests of players in mind they would reveal drop rates for items such as Treasure Chest Key, but they decided to do bare, legal minimum.

After observing nostale discord talking about this topic for a while it pains me that consumers, players would argue against other players, who were pushing for more clear, transparent information on % chances or ratios for several things. They're fighting for the better of us all and you come at them with "askhually" and "well technically". What is wrong with you? People really would rather argue that "well technically you don't need itemshop scrolls to upgrade equipment, despite extremely low chances of success and extremely high chances of permanently losing the item you're upgrading" than get real upgrade percentages. What is wrong with you people? You're almost like a lost cause conditioned to be milked by gameforge over and over for minimal input from them.

We should push from all fronts, be it official complaints to officials or feedback to gameforge, for the reveal of all randomized chances because it is just right, it is a correct way to do things. I'm glad that there are some people pushing for it and seeing through PR lies about "being transparent" and what not. Keep it up guys. For the rest, I hope you will understand that this is a win for everyone involved and at the very least you won't argue against it.

    Based user, keep it up

EDIT: Another agent of evil forces

They might not have legal obligation but why would you argue against having more transparent game allowing you to make better, more educated decisions without being clueless about what you're actually investing your time into? What is wrong with you? People like you are a part of the problem of todays world, you create your own demise step by step. Sure this is only a game but this mentality goes beyond games. People want repairable phones you will argue that you can just buy a new one why fix old phone and that there's no law to make phones repairable?
